Concord Township Council has listened to many of our customers’ requests for a more equitable usage based rate structure. A Township study was done to explore this new rate based on consumption, and on January 2, 2018 the Township approved the new rate structure which will begin on May 1, 2018. The new structure will provide a less expensive base charge in addition to a cost associated with consumption in excess of 10,000 gallons used per quarter. All rates will be based off of consumption records provided to the Township by your water provider (CWA or Suez). Please see the below adjusted rates for 2018, billing examples, and tips for water conservation.
2018 Quarterly Rates
Residential: $90.00 per quarter up to 10,000 gallons
plus $5.50 per thousand gallons over the initial 10,000 gallons.
Commercial: $90.00 per quarter up to 10,000 gallons
plus $8.25 per thousand gallons over the initial 10,000 gallons.

Installing Rain Barrels
Rain barrels capture and store rain water; making it available for watering gardens, washing cars and other activities – instead of using the hose. The collected rain water is used in place of your utility or well water, therefore reducing costs.
Affordable rail barrels can be purchased or consider making your own. Click Here to see how.
